SISter School™️: A Lesson in Overcoming Fear and Unlocking Your Full Potential

SISter School™️ is my blog within The Inspired Empty Nest site.  What does SIS stand for?  Self-Inventory for the Soul™️, and those who've been along for the ride for the last fifteen years will know that everything I create is based on the principle of living a life from cause, rather than effect.

As I'm currently visiting my two daughters in Australia (woohoo! 🎉) and not currently 'working', I wanted to leave you with a collection of these lessons for the next month or so.

From empty nest to personal best, let's fly, mum, fly. Hi, mums, and welcome to another mini-episode from the Sister School blog in the Inspired Empty Nest website. Today I'm going to talk about a lesson in overcoming fear. Fear isn't just an emotion, it's a formidable force. Lately I've been contemplating fear and thinking about not only how it prevents us from moving forward physically, emotionally and mentally but how it plays with energy in a way that imprisons us.

When we fear that fear not being good enough, fear not succeeding, fear not achieving or fear not being able to create and manifest a desired life, the energy of unlimited possibility retracts and is sucked inward like a vacuum and becomes sealed in the vortex that is our fearful self. What does become possible to us are only fear-based possibilities and outcomes. We become trapped in this state and prevent our energy from drifting, flowing and rippling as it should so we can embrace opportunity on its course. This applies to those seeking loving partnerships, success with work or anything that someone may desire. Whilst a negative mindset is sitting at the forefront of your being, there is no chance of the energy of possibility interacting with new, different or desired and therefore creating new, different or desired. You've shut yourself off from opportunity.

However, in the release of fear, your energy will flow as it should. As is natural, it will permeate through all time and space exactly to the point where what you desire resides. In the release of fear and in the expansion of your energy. Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual restriction dissolves and you will find yourself breathing more deeply, becoming an invested player in assisting the energy of possibility to flow through you and out into the world. Instead of chasing, which stems from fear, you will be attracting which stems from love, attracting love, success, abundance, anything that you desire. So my question to you today is are you willing to drop the cloak of fear you carry, step out unencumbered and cast your energetic net of possibility out into the ether to catch whatever you define as happiness, success, joy or love and draw it back to you?
